Silicon Nitride Beads（DURA-SiN）

●Description:

DURA-SiN silicon nitride bead is made from upscale raw material with

unique dropping & rolling method. The vacuum kiln gives the beads

the exquisite crystalline grain and has outstanding compression 

strength.Antioxidation, anticorrosion and wear resistance are its 

characteristics. It is a ideal option for grinding extreme

hard materials such as alumina,boron nitride, silicon nitride,

silicon carbide, zirconia and other material.       

●Specialty:

—Relative to the zirconia beads, it has higher hardness for

   grinding the hard materials.

—Compared to alumina beads, higher toughness means less broken

and long service life.

—The disadvantage of it is low density which will decrease grinding

efficiency.

●Application：

——Grinding high hard material: alumina, boron nitride, silicon nitride,

silicon carbide, zirconia and other material.

——Using in extreme environments: high temperature or acid, alkali

environment.
