Zirconia Toughened Alumina (ZTA) BeadsDURA-32
lDescription:
DURA-32 Zirconia Toughened Alumina (ZTA) bead was sintered from alumina powder and zirconium silicate powder. Compared to the alumina beads, it has a higher fracture toughness and lower hardness. It is an economic ceramic bead to replace Kaolin bead, silica sand and other natural grinding media.
lApplications:
—Minerals industry;
—Chemical industries;
—Fillers: filler of paper, plastic and rubber.
lSpecialty:
—Higher toughness than alumina beads: break resistance;
—Lower surface friction coefficient and hardness: lower wear and tear to the internal parts of bead mills;
—Low wear rate of beads: increase whiteness and coloury of slurries.
—Matching mills: lower intensity mills.
